Restoring Relationships  -    Led by: Ian Wilsher

A nine-week course to help you build and restore your marriage relationship. You can attend the first session without

obligation, to help you decide if you want to attend the whole course. Hundreds of couples have had their marriages

rejuvenated as a result of attending this course!
Date:  Starts Monday 10th  May            Time: 5.30pm  - 7.30pm      Cost: $50 per couple

Boundaries  -  Led by Felicity Tumpkin and Cherry Hulley


Do you have difficulty saying ‘no’ & find yourself intimidated or manipulated into doing things the Lord never

intended you to do?  This course will help you draw clear boundaries in your life!  A ten-week course based on

the book ‘Boundaries’ by Cloud & Townsend, includes  video segments, group discussion & a workbook. Biblical

& practical.

Date:  Starts Tuesday 18th May              Time: 2.30pm - 4.30pm         Cost: $40

Journey to Wholeness  -  Led by Brenda Smith

A popular and life-changing course spread over 9 Saturday mornings that will take you on an inner journey to a

place of renewal and real change. Includes group discussion and assignments to complete at home. Meet with

God in a new way and learn to function as a whole person in Christ.

Date:  Starts Saturday 15th May          Time:  9.00am  - 12.00pm          Cost:$40

 

Basic Counselling Course

Led by CCC Team
This Course spread over 3 Saturdays, will teach you the basic skills needed to

help colleagues, friends or family members who have problems.

  • Active Listening
  • Basic Counselling Skills
  • What makes a good counsellor?
  • Why people have problems
  • A practical model for counselling
  • Crisis Counselling
  • Bereavement

(The Basic Course is a requirement for those who wish to train to Intermediate

or Advanced levels)

Dates:   Saturdays 17TH, 24TH AND 31ST JULY  Time:    9.00am  -  4.30pm
Cost:     $85 (Includes manual, book, lunches and teas.)

We've all been victims of life’s negative experiences or other people’s sin. Come & hear inspiring

stories of how victory and healing came about in three very different situations. We need not remain

victims.Attend one, two or all three talks. Cost: $5 per talk

When you Don’t get what you Want.   -   Led by: Rachelle Da Silva
What do you do when your prayers are not answered? How do you prevent bitterness from creeping into your heart

when others have what you are denied? Come & hear the story of Rachelle’s personal battle with infertility, as God

walked with her, taking her from emptiness to fulfillment, making her whole.


Time: 9.00am - 10.00am


Turning Negatives into Opportunities  -   Led by: Sue Marland

Life happens whether we like it or not, but whether or not we are victims is our choice. Sue will share crucial lessons

from her own life on overcoming negative events in our lives and rising above them.

Time: 10.20am - 11.20am


A Crown of Beauty  -  Led by: Sabina Seldon

Experiencing childhood trauma, particularly childhood sexual abuse can be devastating. Sabina will share God’s heart

for survivors of childhood sexual abuse and rape & show that healing and hope are possible through His love & power.

Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm

Building Healthy Relationships- 12th June


Do you find yourself in painful or confusing relationships? Do you feel used & taken for granted? Do you

try to fix things but never feel you succeed? These talks will provide guidelines & insights that will help

heal & restore your relationships. Attend one, two or all three talks. Cost: $5 per talk


Toxic Love - Real Love    -   Led by: Chiyedza Timba

Love is a basic need for all individuals. Can one ever love too much or too little? Is love always nurturing or can

it be harmful?   Time: 9.00am - 10.00am


The Dances of Anger   -   Led by: Ian Wilsher


He criticises her. She’s hurt & says something accusing back. He gets defensive & raises his voice. She raises hers &

he starts name-calling & so on.... Then they retreat into an icy silence. Sound familiar? Or maybe you don’t shout &

scream - perhaps you withdraw. All of us develop patterns of relating (dances) especially concerning what we do

with our anger. These dances can create a downward cycle which hinders communication. Learn how to stop dancing

& start communicating effectively.  Time: 10.20am - 11.20am


Dealing with Roots of Shame  -  Led by: Maureen Prothero

So often we over-react unexpectedly, or have repeated cycles of inappropriate behaviour. Where does this come from &

how can we change it? Examining our roots will be helpful.  Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm

Tools for Developing your Child

Wanting our children to develop & grow to their full potential is normal but driving them with demands &

pressure to perform is unlikely to produce well-rounded adults. These seminars provide practical tools to

develop your child’s personality, character & spiritual life.Attend one, two or all three talks.

Cost: $5 per talk

Honouring your Child’s Unique Personality   -Led by: Chris Anderson

Children from the same family can be completely different in temperament & personality. Chris will help parents to

identify & honour the special & unique personalities that their children have been gifted with. He will be using the

hilarious, tried& trusted material developed by Gary Smalley to help you shape your parenting style to each child’s

unique character.

Time: 9.00am - 10.00am


Developing your Child’s Bank of Memories   -  Led by: Mark Anderson

Drawing from his own childhood experiences Mark will provide parents with practical ideas for family activities which build

a child’s sense of belonging & self-esteem. Learn how to create lasting and happy memories which will shape your child’s

character.

Time: 10.20am - 11.20am


Developing your Child’s Heart for God   -   Led by: Leonard and Fiona Makoni

Parents often focus on the “what” of a child’s behaviour rather than the “heart” of it. Internal issues of the heart

drive all behaviour. Parents have the responsibility & opportunity to direct the hearts of their children to God. This

talk isbased on the book “Shepherding your Child’s Heart.”
